How do i find others computer ip address?
can anybody share ideas here?

suppose my fren is in US and i'm in UK. now how can i find my fren ip address?

It's not always possible. You can use a server side language for trying to determine where someone is connecting to your computer from but that works only when they are connected to your computer (say when they are opening a web page on your computer). But even then there's a lot of things that can make you get an incorrect result.

Hi sunsaan,

Why do you want your friends ip address ? - there may be a better way to achieve what you are trying to do..

If she is on a corporate network or behind a firewall you would not be able to access her machine without configuring ports on the firewall etc.

If she is on a home network and can control her firewall you just need to ask her to give you her WAN IP address which will be detailed in the configuration screen for her internet router / firewall.
