What do you think the differences are? Have you compared the definitions of the two online (like wikipedia or google)?

And I'm going to answer you the same way (this sounds like a homework question, so we go by the site Posting Guidelines where I can help you by making this a discussion, but I'm not allowed to just sit here and list all the differences).

So, let's start with the big difference - user roles. What do you think is the difference between a workgroup and a domain, and what more detail are you confused about? (If you're having trouble with this, think about an 'admin' role. How are they going to get access to all the computers in a domain? In a workgroup?)
