How to Post Status on Facebook from aspx page in asp.net

Hello friends,
I want to post a status on my facebook account from c#.net web project.
I begin using a simple multiline textbox and a button but i don't know how to link facebook with my project and what code should I write to complete my task.

Please help me in doing this.

Thanks in advance

To start you need to use the Facebook API. Here are some resources for accomplishing this:

Facebook Developers
The getting started guide
In your Facebook profile add the Developers application

You can create an application here, it will assign you an application and API key. You need to provide these settings when you access facebook via whatever .net code you are using.

Hopefully these resources will help.
