[C#] Mute sound of external program

Hi!

I got this game I'm playing, and it contains this really annoying music, and I like to listen to real music while playing games. Of some reason, theres no mute button I can use to turn of this music. So I was looking for any way to mute external programs programmatically, using C#.

Anyone please?

Thank you in advance :)

PS: Please excuse eventual poor English, as I am Norwegian :)

Hmm. Pretty sure if there was a way it would be with the Win32_API. Maybe something with MCI even?

I think with the program ProcessExplorer you can look at what DLLs/files/etc the game has open and close the handles to them. That would make the game pretty unstable I am sure.
