Printing PDF

I've been looking for a way to print a PDF as easily and as cheap as possible. also, (the compicated part) i need to be able to select which tray is used on the printer. The printers being used are able to print postscript and pdf directly. I've looked in to sending the pdf to the printer as a byte array (via winspool driver), but this doesnt have a way to select which tray. Also, i've looked at using System.Drawing.Printing, which lets you select trays, but doesnt support pdf printing unless you can either convert the pdf to a graphics object (which im not opposed to), or somehow change the print event to send a byte array instead of a graphics object (i'd love this but i dont know which funtion attached to the event actually sends the data to the printer).

The other options i've looked at are things like rasterizer and other proprietary solutions that just happen to cost a ton more than i'm able to pay.

And if it helps any, I am using iTextSharp to do some things with the pdf. I didn't see anything in there that solves my problem, but I haven't looked at it too much.

Try googling PCL for the specific type of printer that will allow you to control duplex num of copies etc. As for PDF printing and generating I use Altsoft at work but i do not know how much it costs but it does a decent enough job.

I can already control the printer properties with the driver for the specific printer. where i said i couldnt was with the generic winspool driver. i only mentioned it to show what i've tried.

I haven't looked at altsoft before. i'll go check it out.

Edit: Altsoft is for when you have xml data. it can then take that and convert it to anything that uses raster graphics (aka pdf/postscript/bitmap) or fonts. I've already got a pdf and cant get it to xml without decompressing/decoding the pdf.
