Microsoft Mail and Outlook

I have been having problems with Mail and other Microsoft internet programs.
When I try to send a message it comes back with an error. But if I try
several times, or shut down and restart it sends fine. Microsoft claims it is
the ISP problem, and the ISP's I have used claim it is Microsoft. I have
identified the problem I am having. When I try to send a message, but there
are messages to be downloaded I get the error and the outbox messages fail to
send. If I let any messages complete the download and it is done checking, it
will send the mail with no error.
It is not and ISP problem, but problem with Microsoft programs.
That is why I could use other internet programs with no problem!

This newsgroup is for programming questions regarding Microsoft's .NET
programming platform.

Try a newsgroup with Outlook in the name.

But, based on what you say here, the problem is most likely NOT with your
Microsoft software, but with your email account settings
(POP/SMTP/Security/Port) in Outlook.
