Asp.Net Cookie Expirity

Hi,


Am adding a cookie and clearing it when logout is clicked,but it persists,the codes are

// For Cookie Addtion

HttpCookie cookie = new HttpCookie("UserId");
cookie.Value = objAdminUser.UserID.ToString();
DateTime dtNow = DateTime.Now;
TimeSpan tsMinute = new TimeSpan(3, 0, 0);
cookie.Expires = dtNow + tsMinute;
Response.Cookies.Add(cookie);

In log out section am using the code

HttpCookie cookie = Request.Cookies["UserId"];
Response.Cookies.Remove("UserId");
Response.Cookies.Clear();

but after that the below method returns true.



private bool CheckForCookie()
{
bool result = false;
HttpCookie cookie = Request.Cookies["UserId"];

if (cookie != null)
{
result = true;
}

return result;
}

can anyone help me .

hi,
I solved it by adding

myCookie = new HttpCookie("UserId");
myCookie.Expires = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1D);
Response.Cookies.Add(myCookie);

in the LogOut Section
