imports common = ??? C#

what replaces the common namespace in C#


I have a couple of things like

log.WriteLine() that the compiler is grumbling about in C# and I discovered they are in the common namespace for a similar VB.NET application

Look into System.Diagnostics that should have the EventLog.

Thanks, not as simple as adding the namespace like it was with other things but it certainly gives me exactly what i need in order to make some changes and get the app working....
