hai Any one help me

Hai,

I need to fill dataset by using arraylist.

My data is arraylist i need to fill that to dataset. IS it possible in asp.net.

any one can help which command i need to use.

My dataset name is objds
and arraylist name is arpinfolist..

Reply will be appreciable

loop through your arraylist and add them to your dataset?

What are you looking for exactly? Seems like you would only have one column in the table of your dataset?

Hai, Thanks for your reply,

I have a collection of record in arraylist. I need to copy whole data to a dataset, If i obtailed data in dataset, i can perform the sort operation and further modification using dataset.

How did you get the records into the arraylist?
Why not skip the arraylist entirely?

I am using one methode to bind the data from the database, using that methode it give collection of product, that products collection is stored in array list.

I need to copy the whole collection to the dataset.Is it possible,If, Could u give the code for the copy

my arraylist collection is :pInfoList
Dataset name is : objDs

Are you filling the arraylist with a dataadpter.fill() method? because that can be used to fill a dataset too.

If you do it by hand, you'll have to create a table with all the columns you need in your dataset. Then just iterate through the index of the arraylist and then through all the values and add them into a datarow (you will have to create the datarow from the table in your dataset with .NewRow() ). Then add the row to your datatable.
