Reg: PIA for acrobat

I have to open up a PDF file and then print it, from a .Net project. I could easily add the type library acrobat.tlb and use CreateObject("AcroExch.AVDoc") for accessing acrobat application.
But if I do so, Visual studio will create an interop assembly - wrapper and use acrobat.tlb itself.
Unlike interop assemblies (which is made by Visual Studio while referring an x86 assembly in .Net), PIAs are signed by the publisher and using a PIA is the best practice.
Could anyone please tell me if any PIA for acrobat exist? And also, is there any other workaround to using acrobat.tlb? Is it required to code a PDF file handler from the scratch in .Net?

Are you adding data to the pdf form? If so there are two ways - the Adobe LiveCycle designer (which is platform dependent and expensive) or the AP Toolkit. To use this you need to register the dll APToolkitNET and import it from the top of your page

Imports APToolkitNET

You then need to call OpenOutPutFile (the name of the file that you are going to create, open and print)

Call OpenInputFile (the template pdf file)

SetFormFieldData for all the fields you wish to add data to

CopyForm (to copy from one to the other)

CloseOutPutFile
CloseInputFile

and if you want to open the pdf in a new window, just run in a popup window at the url you created above....
