Ok, when you burn music to CD's, you need to understand that you are
creating
an audio cd by default. An audio cd, stores songs in the .cda
format...which
takes up an amazing amount of space.
However, if you are looking to use the advertised space, you need to
create
the disc as a data-cd. The data-cd will store the songs in your specified
format as-is, and will allow you to have all the songs you want to
store..until space runs out.
Most cd burners have the option of creating data-cd's. Sad part about
data-cd's is that not all audio-players will support them.
Good luck.

On the back of the package it states that the storage capacity of each
blank
disk is:
WMA Format/92 Kbps ---16 hrs 54 mins/253 4 min songs!!!!
MP3/128 Kbps ---12 hrs 10 mins/180 songs!!!
When I burn in Mp3 or WMA, I only get 18 to 20 songs/disc. What settings
do
I need to change to achieve this huge capacity? Using XP and WMP 10.
