need help with code to merge data from vb to word doc

Hello, I have a text field that gets populated when the user clicks on the submit button. How do I transfer this field onto a Word document? Please help me.

Hello, could someone please help me on how to transfer data from a text field onto a Word document? Do I need to create a Word template? I am able to open the Word document when the user hits the submit button however I need to somehow transfer the data from a text field onto the document. Please help me.
