How to Store millions of record in memory?

Hi,
I am developing an applicationi in c#.Net where i have to store million of Point(x,y,z) record in memory and display the points in screen. after that i have to do some processing on those points. Please suggest the best way to store the point records. I would appreciate any help.

I believe that you will run into memory problems if you use this design. A better way would be to store the records in a database. Even then managing the records to form an image will be problematic. Is this an assignment that only has to work in the lab?
