opening word document

Windows xp: When I try to open a word document, I get the message that "a
dialogue box is open, close the dialogue box and try again." I don't know
what to do. I don't have word, but I have downloaded the software allowing
me to read word. please give lost of detail I am new to this. ed

Hello ed,

If I'm not completely mistaken, your problem doesn't have to do with .NET
programming. You'll get more replies if you find a newsgroup that focuses
on Word.
