StackTrace across assemblies

My web site calls a method in a referenced assembly which throws an
exception. I would like to log the exception with some additional
information, such as the calling assembly and the method.

This is a common assembly that is used by many solutions including web,
console, web services etc.

Getting the stackTrace only goes as far as the common assembly.
