Resource File Modification

Hi,

I have a toolbar containing ten buttons. The fifth button of this toolbar should be shown/hidden depending upon a condition. This condition is kept in the .rc file as #ifdef. Everything works fine except that when eleventh button is added to the toolbar through resource editor, the #ifdef condition is erased. Is there any way that I can retain this #ifdef while saving through resource editor? Or is there any way that the fifth button can be shown/hidden depending upon condition at compile time?

Regards,
Nataraja
