How to pass an array from unmanaged code to managed code?

1 New Member
Hi,

I have the following function in C#.NET assembly having COM visibility.

public bool SetDoubleValue(double[] value_Renamed)
{
}

I am using the following code to set the data through VC++ 6.0

[i]VARIANT varList, var1;
SAFEARRAY *parr1;
double test[4] = { 5, 6, 7, 8};
VariantInit(&varList);VariantInit(&var1);
parr1 = SafeArrayCreateVector(VT_VARIANT,0,3);
for (int i = 0; i < 4; i++)
{
var1.vt = VT_R8;
var1.dblVal = test;
SafeArrayPutElement(parr1,(long*)&i,&var1);
}
varList.vt = VT_ARRAY;
varList.parray = parr1;
SetDoubleValue(varList);

I have removed object names for simplicity.

I am getting the error "BAD Variable Type"

Please ! Can anybody tell me where I am wrong.

Thanks in advance.
