Reading value from client

I play an online game application (Absolute poker) that displays how
many points I have earned. I want the number of points I have earned to
appear as a string in a text box in the program I am writing in VB.net. If I
already knew the window handle, is there someway of accessing the I/O stream
to find out my point status?

Such as:

1) Getting the value away from the control that displays it.

or

2)Read the value from the game client's memory space

The client uses port 443, so I cannot read the network stream.
