web service exceptions

Hi all,

I have following scenario to be implemented. I'm using .Net 1.1 and WSE2.0

a) 2 Applications running 2 "One way" web services (Let's call it App1,App2
and WS1, WS2 respectively)
b) App1 sends a message to App2 by calling a webservice method in WS2 (WS2
is run by App2)
c) App2 sends a reply to App1 by calling a webservice method in WS1 (WS1 is
run by App1)

This is a simple asyncronous service model implimented using 2 one way web
services. I use System.Web.Services.WebService as Publisher(listner) and
Microsot.Web.Services2.WebServicesClientProtocol as Proxy(sender)

As long as preoper messages are passed this set up works fine. Problem
starts when it comes to Exceptions.

Let's say App2 decide to throw an exception( as an outcome of it's internal
business logic). In this case App2 send and exception message as WS1 (App1's
web service ) doesn't have a Webmethod published for "faults" . ( This is
something which is handled automayically from the .net websevice
infrastruture when in comes to normal 2 way requset/ response style ).

Could some one please help me with this? is there a way of sending an
exception message instead of a normal web service call?

Thanks and regards
