Guid as parameters

I have two simple WebMethods in my service. If I use "string uniqueId" as a
parameter in the first method (which currentonly has no implementation code)
everything is fine, but if I use "Guid uniqueId" as I wish to do I get an
"Index out of bounds" error when trying to execute the *other* web method
(and before any of my own code is executed).

Is there a restriction that says I cannot use a Guid?
Thanks

Pete
