MS Word Add-In

I have been tasked to write a Word Add-In button. Is there a way to write it
so that it will automatically update itself via a Web server or will it
require a seperate process to control the update?

Hello Saj,

I reckon it's possible to update in starting of add-in (reg new version)
and then ask user to restart app
But the better way will be to check new version and ask user to update it
manually
