Format Tooltip of Winforms treenode

I have a Winforms treeview with subclassed treenodes. The treeview has
"ShowNodeToolTips" set to true. The text is showing for each node, but
it is not formatted 'pretty' - it comes out in one long line.

Is there some way to get the formatting similar to what's available
with the standard "ToolTip" windows control? This control seems only
to work with other winforms controls, which a treenode is not.
