Getting Perf Counters From ACT

I'm using the ACT object model/wscript to automate the
running of ACT tests (application center test).
For some reason when I run the test from the ACT UI, the
performance counters get collected, but when running the
test via code, they don't. Has anyone had any experience
with this issue?
I'm alerting out the PerfCounters.Count property of my
test object and it's returning a count, so I know they are
in there, but they just don't seem to be getting collected.

Thanks in advance.
