VS.NET Application Client Session Footprint under Terminal Service

We have recently deployed a VS.NET version (1.1 Framework) of a vb 6 application that has been running under Terminal Services for some time. Without a broad test in place, we have noticed the client sessions to be consuming larger amounts of memory as compared to the vb 6 version of the app. Any insight into possible causes such as server related issues, compilation strategy etc would be very wecolme...thanks
