Custom action for configuration

Hi, I am creating a setup for my application. After installation, I want to
show a window to allow configuration (language, licence key). By using
custom actions and having a new project containing only an Installer class,
I am able to show the form. However, if I put the Installer class in the
same assembly as my application, then it doesn't run. Why?

Also, when I show that window using ShowDialog(), it doesn't appear as a
dialog window and the user still have access to the installer window behind,
although the window is waiting for my custom form to close. Is there a way I
can show my custom form as a dialog over the installer window?

Thanks!
Etienne

Get Microsoft Platform SDK and read a section on Microsoft Installer.

MSI has built-in UI. You are supposed to use MSI UI first. It is
possible (as you described), but not recommended to bypass this UI.
