Sending string to printer

Hi,

I have a Console Application created in VB.Net and I need to send a simple
string from that application to a printer. While I have read the docs and
I'm using the PrintDocument class, I don't see how to pass a string into it.

I've seen in other places that there is a PrintDocument component with a
PrintPage event, but this is not a windows application, so I've no access to
components as such. So how can I do this?

Thanks for any feedback.
