Left Hand Menu Used in MSDN

Is the webcontrol used to drive msdn and other microsoft
content available as a downloadable webcontrol for ActiveX
or .NET? Or has anyone seen user versions on codeproject
or the like?

From what I understand, their HTML leaves a lot to be desired. I never
actually took a good look at it, but I doubt they have it driven by a
web control of any kind.

You can use one of many web based treeview controls that allow for a high
level of formatting of output. Take a look at the one from www.obout.com I
have used it to construct a web menu very similar to the one used on MSDN.
Heck, I think there is even an example of that on their site.

Good Luck

What about the main left hand navigation for microsoft.com
the grey bars with rollovers.. has anyone posted an open-
source analog to this?
