Don't forget to RSVP for CSSG Meeting on Sept 11, 2003

Our meeting for the month of September will be on
9/11/2003 from 7 to 10 pm for more info please visit our
website: http://www.csharpstudygroup.com

David Foderick will be speaking about Introduction
to .NET Persistence - a preview of Object Spaces.

This presentation introduces you to the powerful concepts
at the core of .NET persistence layers. You will see
examples of coding techniques that reduce your data
access code by up to 75%. Unlike ADO.NET, persistence
layers enable inheritance and polymorphism, fulfilling
the promise of true object-orientation. By mapping your
domain classes onto relational tables (with ORM), a
persistence layer blows away the object-relational
impedance mismatch. All of these benefits are the result
of extracting persistence from your business objects and
placing it into a persistence layer. If you are writing
object-oriented enterprise applications then you don't
want to miss this session.

David Foderick is an independent consultant in Southern
California specializing in .NET technologies. He is a
Microsoft Certified Solution Developer in .NET and has a
degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of
Minnesota.

Our speaker has requested Chinese Food for the evening -
a $5 meeting/dinner fee will be greatly appreciated.

Don't let us run out of food - please RSVP by emailing
vi****@options-sc.com or fr***@atinnovations.com - we
look forward to seeing you there!!!

Until next time - happy coding!
