While in IE when another window opens, I get a error message box titled with the subject and a message of "abnormal program termination". When I click on OK IE shuts down. How do I fix this? It just started happening within the last few days.

Hi,

This has nothing to do with the Visual C++ product apart from the fact that
IE (and perhaps one of the components it is invoking) are using the C
runtime library.

Your best bet is to give a very detailed explanation of what exactly happens
in one of the IE support forums.
