Long delay when instantiating web service class for the first time

Hi,

My application contains 3 web service classes that each
contain a considerable number of functions. I am not
doing any precompiling as it was suggested that JIT could
offer more optimizations. The problem is that whenever a
class is instantiated for the first time, it is taking a
very long time (30 secondes!!). If I create a second
instance of this class, it's done in a snap. When I
reduced the number of functions in this web service
class, the time it took to instantiate it was reduced.

The JIT seems to compile (or do something with) all the
methods in this class whenever I instantiate it. Is this
normal behaviour? What can I do to correct it?

I might have to precompile everything with ngen but I was
wondering whether I was doing something wrong or whether
there was a better solution.

Regards,
Chady
