Running external app as a child form in vb.net

Hello,
I have a vb.net application that needs to run a third party foxpro
application.
I can get the vb.net app to run the foxpro app through various methods.
However, what's posing a problem is embedding the external foxpro app into
the vb.net app in an mdichild form. I just can't get that to work. I'm
wondering if it's even possible. I can retrieve the external app's window
handle, but I just can't manipulate the window.
Any suggestions, much appreciated.
