any good articles on VB.NET->Database Connection?

I'm new to vb studio .net and sql2k, and wondered if any one know any
good articles on the subject? such as the best practices and
configuration for the database connection and security model. articles
with good coding samples are preferred. thank you!

Steve,

On your question are probably thousands of answers.

Keep in mind that there is in Net not one "Best" practise in general.
Every problem can have its "Best" method.

Otherwise you could probably do only the "Best" practise, what is a
difference with some so named simple to use development environments.

A very good start point for learning is.

Another good resource for your questions is

I hope this helps,
