Here is the CodeDom code for the standard Dispose method of a windows form application.
The problem I have is with the Attributes property, it isn't a collection so only one attribute can be assigned to it.
I would like to set the attributes protected AND override but I can only set one, if I set the other it cancels out the previous.
Does anyone know how to do this?
CodeMemberMethod newMethod = new CodeMemberMethod();

I don't think I'm the only one with this challenge so…
I made code with the CodeDom classes and made code to create a new
solution and a new project
Now I want to get the codedom code in the new created IDE instance
How can do that?
Is there a way to paste the string (CodeDom output) into a class?
Out is the a way to insert the created CodeDom instance into the IDE
I've seen something like the CodeModel which looks like a different...

Hi,
Generating a .cs file using CodeDom. It generates the class fine.
But i have few queries about class generation.
1. How to create a protected member?
By default it generates a private method. To make it static say, I do
something like this -
CodeMemberMethod method = new CodeMemberMethod();
method.Name = "TestMethod";

Hi All ,
I am using the Code model for Generating the VB code on the Fly.
I am able to generate a new class with the Variables, Fields and Methods I want.
Now What I want is the facility to modify a Member's Details inside my already generated Class.
For Ex:
Protected m_OilProd As TimeSeriesDoublePublic Overridable Property OilProd() As TimeSeriesDoubleGet Return m_OilProdEnd Get Set(ByVal Value As TimeSeriesDouble) ...

ello,
I try to make a function, adding automatically all functions to a new class
which are necessary because of implemented Interfaces or inherited, abstract
classes. In the last case, it is necessary to have two attributes in front
of the function, like protected override void Foo(){}. And now my question:
1.: I can't find the Attribute "protectd" in the enum
"System.CodeDom.MemberAttributes". Why? Is it the wrong place to look?

I'm using the CodeDom namespace to generate code. How do you specify that
the method of a class should be static? I'm assuming I use the
CodeMemberMethod class to define the method, but I'm not seeing the property
of the class that would allow me to specify that the method should be
static.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I managed to add attributes to method using codedom. But it is getting
added as instead of how to remove the "()".
I am using CodeAttributeDeclarationCollection.
Thanks,
Ravi

Hi All,
I'm looking for some simple examples of using the CodeDom. While the ones
that I have found have been very helpful, I can't seem to find the
following:
How to add a control to a form.
How to add an event handle to that control just was just added to the form.
If anyone has any examples that they could share, it would be much

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
