Looking for components to do merging

Anyone know of any 3rd party components that can allow for programmatic
merging of Word documents? Also one that does the same for Excel
spreadsheets? Really looking for something that can just append one document
to the other.

Don't want to have MS Office installed on the server, need a component that
can be shipped, preferrebly with a redistributable license.

Thanks.

Marina,

I don't know however to make your question more clear.

Probably you mean

a .DOC document and not something as a .RTF
a .XLS file and not a XML

There are even a lot of other formats which can called a Word Document you
know.

Right, RTF wouldn't hurt, but mainly concerned about .doc and .xls
documents.

I've actually found some components that do this from Aspose. They are a
bit pricy.

Any other vendor suggestions are welcome.
