Hi,

I guess you should install IIS (it's on your Windows XP CD) or try using
Webmatrix which comes with a simple web server.

Hi dcinfinite,

It may be that this article is related to your problem

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;817267

As for the MSDN library, you can get the help files for .net by
downloading and installing the SDK packages. There are a bunch of other
SDK packages that contains help files for other areas, like Platform SDK
and DirectX SDK.

This is the Framework 1.1 SDK

You may also need Frontpage server extensions. You should find it under
Windows Components.
If not you should be able to download it somewhere on www.microsoft.com
(couldn't find the link right now)

When all is installed you may need to run aspnet_regiis -i
(aspnet_regiis.exe should be somewhere on your machine by now).
