Application Cache Control During Development

I'm loading a large quantity of data into App Cache from our SQL Server
database to achieve high performance. This works extremely well.
Unfortunetly, the data load time into cache is about 5 minutes. I'm
loading data from a SQL Server database over the Internet into
my dev box using a high speed Internet connection. Everytime I make a
code change to the web application the app cache is reloaded and
I have to wait another 5 minutes for the cache to load. The long load
time increases my development time.

I'd like to speed up my development process as much as possible. My
thought is to write a small app which loads the data into cache and run
the small app say at the beginning of my day. Then I'd make changes and
test the main app without it causing the app cache to reload everytime I
make a code change.

Any ideas, suggestions?

Ed
