I have not heard of the Media Only version of VS.NET

Where are you seeing this?

Based on other packages where I have seen this. I would expect the Full
Version would have a book or booklet, maybe a poster or two, plus other
printed material in the package, where as Media Only has only media as in
only CDs or DVDs.

However I got VS.NET via MSDN, so I'm not certain.
