Hi,
Is there a way to use the SelStart functionality in a textbox that has
more than 32,767 characters in it, when the cursor is beyond the
32,767th characterz?
SelStart is an integer, and it wraps around to negative numbers when
going beyond this upper limit.
Thanks,

I am new to ASP/ASP.NET so kindly be gentle. When my index.aspx page
loads, I need the focus to be on one of the textboxes called
txtUserName.
I come from a VB background, so expecting the obvious, I go to the
Page_Load event of the index.aspx page and try to write
txtUserName.SetFocus but I see there isn't a SetFocus method for the
System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox class.
What's the way to set the focus to a textbox on the page load...

Hi,
I have a question. I have created a user control which contains a
textbox and a button. we will enter some search word in the textbox and hit
the button. Then we will get a pop-up with the listbox that contains the
matches. Once I select one of the matches, it will close the pop-up and
display the selected one in a label control which is also in the user
control. Everything is working fine. But I am not getting one thing. After

I have a datasheet style form with textbox (MyTextBox) that has the Text Format property set to "Rich Text". It is bound to a memo field in a table. How do I change the text or highlight color of certain text in the textbox such that the formating is saved in an underlying memo field?
My situation is a little different than other posts I read. Most posts show how to find and select certain text in a textbox, and then change the formating...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
