I developed a windows application using C# which is used to insert data from sql server 2000 to oracle 10g data base. I developed a Installer file using set up and deployment projects in visual studio for the windows application.i installed the set up file on my local machine it works fine, when I installed the set up file on a remote machine in the same network it says

Unhandled Exception: System.DllNotFo undException: Unable to load DLL (OraOps10.d
ll).

That message looks like it cannot find a reference to the oracle database drivers .dll file.
Is it included in your isntall package? is your software setup to use that dll or a dll somewhere else?

Hi, I was wondering how I would execute a file remotely? For example, test.exe resides on machine A, my python script is running on Machine B. I would like to execute "test.exe -parameters" on machine A from a script running on machine B. Does anyone know how to do this easily in python? Thanks a lot.

Hello All, I've developed a Commerce Server application and am having deployment problems. The issue is not Commerce Server specific, so I'll ask here, since questions get answered here. The application is developed on a remote machine. My compiler runs locally, but the source files and destination is on the remote machine. The remote machine is running Framework 1.0.3705. This morning I PUP'd the Commerce Server site and deployed it...

I'm having a credentialing problem in my web application. Actually, I don't think this is an IIS security issue, since I'm able to access the page I'm requesting. However, the executing page itself is not able to access a specific network resource and I just can't figure out why. First of all, let me say this worked fine with IIS running on Win2000 Server. This has not worked since I upgraded to Windows Server 2003. My Platform: Windows...

Hey all, Working on revamping our Intranet here and making use of the LDPA, Active Directory, Directory Services, etc. that .Net provides. I am still fairly new on this subject, so the problem I have run into I am not sure how to fix, and really not sure what is causing it. Here's what is going on (test server - Windows 2003 Server): I have a page in a folder (under anonymous authentication in IIS6) that has a link on it that...

Hi all, We've created a VB.NET application which runs a couple of DTS packages on a SQL Server in a specific order using ADO.NET. When we runs this application on the same machine that SQL Server resides on it works fine. However when we run the application on another machine in the domain the first package is started but it doesn't finish. This package is a straightforward one: truncate a table, copy records (approx. 10.000.000) from...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
