Hello all,
I have written a program that is a client / server program running over a
wifi network. When the computer boots windows connects to the network 99% of
the time , but now and again it just doesnt connect and needs to be manually
connected. I was wondering if in .net its possible to re connect to the
network ? my other smaller problem is that the client code is set to run on

I have to impliment a new barcode system in a warehouse. Meaning i have to replace pre-existing sacnners and the middleware that feeds into a SQL database.

Is there a way to get the Signal Strenghts of the access points around your
laptop in windows vista.
In XP it can be done talking to WMI, but this doesn't work in vista.

I had a three station XP network with a NAS attached that worked fine.
Then I replaced one of the PCs with a Vista computer.
The Vista PC which has a USB Linksys WiFi and can connect to the Linksys SRX-200 router for Internet access but cannot see any other PC in the network.
I have tried clicking on all the sharing and discovery buttons and even took down any firewalls temporarily and still no luck.
The Vista cannot ping any other PC...

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
