mysql update

hi all, can i change a word and replace with another word of the value stored in my database? like for example: in the field named
"message" which has values
"hello i am a begginer"
"the begginer begins"


i want to change all "begginer" into "New User" and make it look like this

"hello i am a New User"
"the New User begins"

am i going to use mysql_query("Update tablename on that? how?

Say field2 contains the text you said....here is the query...
update table1 set field2 =
replace(field2,'beginner','New User')
where field2 like '%beginner%';

The where clause is not required i think.
