i am not able to connect to my mysql some one plz help me

hi everybody
this is seshu i have a serious problem that i couldnt open my mysql when i click on the connect button it is saying you can not connect to the localhost and i am able to connect to one more server ie main server and one more thing is that i have searched all the search enigines and even in tsdn but i have found only one thing ie go to services and start this mysql services i have tried that it saying it could not start so someone plz help me

i dint understan you more over your statement looks like i need to enter in to main server and give permissions if i do so will i get all the tables which i have designed and which are not in mainserver

In order to understand your problem you should give some more information. What button? What server? Since when? etcetera.

And please give your description in word that are easy to understand for us. In multi-sentences and not one long string of words to describe the problem.
