how can i recover deleted photos from Android phone?

2 New Member
Hello, My girl friend deleted every photo off my Samsung Galaxy III, does anyone know how I can recover the photos by connecting my phone to my computer?

Note:
. The photos are not on a card.
. Some photos were taken on the phone before I knew that the pictures were deleted.

Given that the photos were on the internal memory, you're most likely going to have to find an "app for that."

An internet search will turn up dozens of these types of apps, some free/share-ware. Please do a search on the apps that you choose to be sure that they have decent reviews. I hesitate to suggest one as they all seem to have their plusses and minuses. Try keywords:
"Android" "Recover Pictures" "Tutorial" "Samsung"

I fear however, that more than likely, if any of your apps or the OS have updated that your images may be corrupted. The only way I know of to prevent that is to switch into airplane mode and from what I understand (mind-you I understand VERY little about the android-os) the newer versions make the recovery much less likely.

Be careful with any method that involves "rooting" a device - something I advise against for the majority of users. Rooting the device can "brick" it if not done properly and/or something important is altered. Also in the US, "rooting" your device might be a violation of your carrier's contract and will most likely void any remaining warranty.

@zmbd already suggested an actionable way to solve your problem. What i add here is that I had the same issue with you a while go. Luckily, I got back my deleted photos an my Galaxy S6.

Recura and PhotoRec are mostly for desktop computer based file recovery. As you may know, the storage media is different between computer and a smartphone. So the same method doesn't work for your phone. It took me hours to test out the free apps

Hope it helps.

Recura didn't work with my phone, Recura can't identify my phone when I connect my phone to computer. And PhotoRec only scan a few data.

I found these guide to retrieve my lost photos from phone,
http://www.androidphonesoft.com/reso...axy-phone.html

but it's a paid software, is there any other software like this, but free?
