Who knows. If I could make a prediction like that, I wouldn't be sitting here supporting legacy systems, I'd be investing in that new framework. The bottom line is that struts is a useful framework that will help simplify your life right now. It can't hurt to learn it, because you will probably be able to translate that to whatever framework comes along next - with a change or two (nothing ever translates 100% directly).
