Java scanner

Hi i'm doin an assignment and i got stuck at java scanner. i not sure how to use it ,. need help thanks alot.

The program goes like this :_

1. read name age to file
2. print file's content
3. exit the program

Pls choose the above command :-

so therefore the thing is that i have to key in the int 1, 2 or 3 from the keyboard ...meaning either one of the int to redirect to another page and i believe java scanner is needed to do this

like if i key 1 from the keyboard the page should be redirected to another page.

What pages are you talking about?Web pages?
Do you want to open files depending on which number was typed in or do you want to store name and age typed in into a file?
Sorry I think you need to explain a bit more of what you want to do
