Searhing merthod reference programmatically

Hi All,

In one of the application I am working on, I need to find out which all methods/classes in my application call a geiven method of a given class. Anybody knows how to achieve this? Eclipse java search functionality does similar thing.

I would initially suggest reflection but then I did not quite understand your problem

Even I thought of reflection first, but then its not reaaly helping me. My requirement is very simple. I want to figure out which all methods of which all classes are calling a given method of a given class.

eclipse is opensource, you can see the source Code for it and also take it and modify as u need
