Get Path Java Called From

Is there any way to get the directory or full path Java was called from?
For example, if I was in the directory "/home/me" and ran "java foo" is
there anything that would tell me that Java was called from "/home/me"?

Try the following:

// Start of WhereCalled.java
import java.io.*;

public class WhereCalled
{
public static void main(String[] args) throws IOException
{
System.out.println(new File(".").getCanonicalPath());
}
}
// End of WhereCalled.java
