playing wave file

hi,
could you please tell me how to play a small wave file if a button is
pressed.
or if there is another format that is easer then use that instead of wave.

Hi,
Wave files can be played in many ways ... but the easiest way would be
to use
something known as Java Media Framework (JMF) .. this is available for
download from java.sun.com ... along with some sample code that plays
more than a wave file .. it can play mpeg video ..mp3 ...midi ... etc
etc.. check them out.
