using <ul> and css to format a page

Hi everyone!

I'm working on the following web site:

www.cool-walls.com

It's my first venture into building a page with css rather than tables.
I can get it to look ok on IE 6 on a PC, but I know it's not working
on NN 7 (PC) and IE or NN on the Mac. This is how it's supposed to look:
http://www.cool-walls.com/coolwalls.pdf.

I'm using <ul> to format 8 pictures into 2 rows with a 3px padding and
1px border. I can get the boxes to line up, but my problem is trying
to get the white border around each picture. I'm also having difficulty
centering the inside box horizontally on the page.

I'd appreciate any help -- thanks in advance!
