Need a nice graphic font

How does one create that nice text? Look here for example

I am using paint shop pro.

One creates it and doesn't compress it to death. One uses good colors
and contrast. Colors that won't "bleed" when compressed.
gifs are better than jpgs for text, IME.

Take a tutorial for Paint Shop Pro or your graphics editor of choice.
How text is created and manipulated depends on the tool.
